M is for…

M is for…Motivation. If you want to do well you need to try hard all the time. The children in your class who are predicted to get a level 5 at the end of year 6 are not lucky – they just work hard. If you ask the children in your class who are good at reading how often they read, they will probably tell you ‘every day’. If you asked your favourite singer how often they sing, or your favourite footballer how often they train, they will tell you ‘every day’. Good results require effort. So choose one thing that you want to do well, and then do it every day, even if it’s only for 10 minutes. You will soon notice a difference.
